ack is a grep-like tool optimized for working with large trees of source code. ack is *not* intended to be a general-purpose replacement for grep. ack is for searching source code of defined file types. For searching other files, you may want to stick with grep. # INSTALLATION To install this module, run the following commands: perl Makefile.PL make make test make install # SUPPORT AND DOCUMENTATION You can look for information at: * ack home page * <http://betterthangrep.com/> * CPAN home * <http://search.cpan.org/dist/ack> * Project home * <http://github.com/petdance/ack> * AnnoCPAN, annotated documentation * <http://annocpan.org/dist/ack> * CPAN Ratings * <http://cpanratings.perl.org/d/ack> * Issue list at Github (report bugs here) * <http://github.com/petdance/ack/issues> * The ack mailing list * <http://groups.google.com/group/ack-users> # COPYRIGHT AND LICENSE Copyright 2005-2010 Andy Lester.
